FIT TO GO Revive Recover Wellness Studio Infrared Sauna Terms and Conditions
Welcome to FIT TO GO Revive Recover Wellness Studio! Please review the following terms and conditions carefully before booking your Infrared Sauna session. If you have any questions or concerns, our team is here to assist you.
Getting Started
Introduction Period: Begin with sessions of 15-20 minutes at temperatures below 43-46°C. Gradually increase the length and temperature of sessions based on personal comfort.
Monitoring Your Response: If you experience dizziness, lightheadedness, or heat exhaustion, cease sauna use immediately and consult staff.
Hydration
Mandatory Hydration: You must be adequately hydrated to use the sauna. Drink plenty of filtered or electrolyte-enhanced water before and after sessions. A full water bottle must be brought to each session.
Dietary Recommendations
Pre-Session Meals: Avoid large meals at least one hour before your sauna session.
Sauna Etiquette
Topical Products: Do not apply lotions or oils prior to using the sauna as they can impede sweat and stain the wood.
Appropriate Attire: Underwear must be worn at all times. Bring a towel to sit on and another for your feet. If you forget a towel, options are available for purchase at the studio.
Age Requirement
Children and Saunas: Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Consult a pediatrician before allowing a child to use the sauna.
Health and Safety
Medical Clearance: Usage of the sauna must be cleared with your healthcare provider, especially if you have any of the following conditions or are using related medications:
Prescription Medication: Check with your doctor about heat exposure while on medication.
Pregnancy: Sauna use is not recommended for pregnant individuals.
Cardiovascular Conditions: Those with heart-related issues should use extreme caution.
Chronic Conditions: Including but not limited to Parkinson’s, MS, CNS tumors, Lupus, and diabetes with neuropathy.
Heat Sensitivity: Individuals who do not sweat normally or have a heat insensitivity should avoid the sauna.
Recent Joint Injuries: Avoid sauna use if the injured area is still hot or swollen.
Infections and Implants: Avoid using the sauna during active infections or if you have implants without consulting your doctor first.
Liability Waiver
Acknowledgment of Risks: By booking a session, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with infrared sauna use. You voluntarily assume responsibility for any potential injuries or damages that may occur.
Release of Liability: You and any representatives agree to release FIT TO GO Revive Recover Wellness Studio from all claims related to personal injuries or damages that may occur in the sauna.
This agreement remains effective for all sauna sessions unless a change is requested by either party.
